Nate Beckett doesn’t expect much from life, and he definitely doesn’t believe in New Year’s celebrations or resolutions. A Happy New Year? Not likely. As the manager of McGee’s bar, the best he can hope for is a drama-free night. One glance at the sexy young man on the dance floor and that hope is long gone. Once again, his young neighbor Justin is back to tempt and torment him. Despite the undeniable attraction, Nate knows he’s too old and jaded for someone like him, so the time has come to reject Justin. It’s for his own good!

Justin may be young and inexperienced, but he knows what he needs. His New Year’s resolution—to tempt and win Nate over. One lame seduction attempt later, and he’s on his way home in a cab. Alone. But later that night, Justin wakes up battered and bruised on Nate’s doorstep, and Nate insists that Justin stay with him. The big, beautiful man’s protective and caring instincts are definitely kicking in.

Maybe, just maybe, there’s a chance for a Happy New Year after all.

Acceptable Lies by CM Corett

Now Available.

Lies, blackmail, and forbidden desire.

England 1857

William’s task is clear: catch the blackmailer. William Richmond is an earl, a father, a country gentleman… and a former spy. Catching the blackmailer should be simple, but when William finds a beautiful, injured young man on the beach, unfamiliar desires surge. He is determined to focus on the task and resist temptation—resist Daniel, or his carefully constructed illusions will crumble, exposing his lies to the world… and himself.

Daniel’s question is simple: Should he trust William? Daniel has secrets: his identity, his past, how and why he washed up on the shore… and more. With revelations of espionage, blackmail, and the arrival of William’s colleagues, the danger of exposure grows. Daniel’s instincts tell him that William is a decent man, a man of honor, but his instincts have been wrong before. As the attraction grows, so does Daniel’s desire to confess, but if he’s wrong, he risks everything—his secrets, his freedom, and his heart.

: For a story less than 100 pages CM Corett managed to grab my attention from the first paragraph and keep it the entire book. There were several twists, I cried and I cheered each of these characters along the way.

James rejected Ashes advances in the beginning but you have to applaud Ash on going after what he wanted. Then through a tragic twist James much pursue the man he fell in love with. I would have loved to seen this spread out and some blanks filled in. I would have loved more details on Ashes job and adventures and would have loved more about Brody and Ashes history. Yes I loved this story so much I just wanted more! I will definitely be looking for more from this author!

If you like sweet romance, extreme sports, books, older men/younger men, some twists, some moderate but sensual loving man-sex this is definitely for you!

This is an interesting story about two men and their hard earned love. It's well written with great main characters and supporting characters as well, especially James's sister, Rachel. Without her nagging encouragement, James would have drifted through life, not knowing what love could be like. If you enjoy stories about leaving the past behind, not worrying about what other people think, and following your feelings, then you may like this story. Thanks, CM, for the reminder to live in the present and let the past go.

What a wonderful book, with a very surprising twist! The author has written two fabulous characters, an intriguing, and surprising plot, and just enough heat to keep you reading. If this is what CM Corett is usually like, then I’ll be back for more, I can guarantee that!

Indigo Road

Indigo Road - RJ Jones LOVED IT !!!
This is a story about two best friends who take a year off to find themselves… and end up finding each other.
It has a great plot with the perfect balance of sentiment and sizzle.
This is definitely one of those books I'll re-read when I need a feel-good fix.

Play On: A Glasgow Lads Novella

Play On: A Glasgow Lads Novella - Avery Cockburn 4.5 stars. Excellent series.

Pull Me Under

Pull Me Under - Zarah Detand This is one of my all time favorite mm books - What more can I say?

With a Kiss

With a Kiss - Kim Dare This story hooked me in from the very beginning. I loved the characters and especially the progression of Marcus's feelings from annoyance (at the first hospital visit) to protectiveness of Liam. The BDSM elements were almost non-existent but this fit the tone and progression of their relationship perfectly. Another great story from Kim Dare.

A Snowman Made of Sand

A Snowman Made of Sand - J.J. Carroll This is a really funny Aussie Christmas story, but you don't need to be Australian to appreciate this wacky (crazy) family. I think we all have at least one or two family members that embarrass the heck out of us. This story is well written and very entertaining.

Playing for Keeps (Glasgow Lads Book 1)

Playing for Keeps - Avery Cockburn WOW!!! I can't say enough good things about this book. Great writing, plot characters etc. etc.... Sexy Scottish lads, Kilts, and football. It's got everything. Can't wait to read the others in this series.

A Bar Tender Tale

A Bar Tender Tale - Melanie Tushmore This was a nice surprise. Gotta love a zombie loving nerd!

The Only Guy (The Guy Series)

The Only Guy (The Guy Series) - Skylar M. Cates I loved this book. Great writing, characters, chemistry and plot. I'll definitely be reading more books from Skylar M Cates!!!

Sex, Lies & Wedding Bells

Sex, Lies & Wedding Bells - E.M. Lynley I really enjoyed this book. I especially love it when you think you have the plot/reason all worked out - and it turns out you're wrong!

Never a Hero

Never a Hero - Marie Sexton This story has a great plot with real characters.

The Ex Factor

The Ex Factor - RJ Scott I've just read this book again and have to change my rating from 4 stars to 5 STARS!!! This is definitely my favourite of the Bodyguard series.

Family Man

Family Man - Marie Sexton, Heidi Cullinan This is my go to - feel good book.

Harbinger

Harbinger - Peta Crake I really liked this book. It has an exciting, fast paced plot and great characters. The Gods and mythology in a modern day setting worked really well. I will definitely be reading more titles from this author.
